The process of upcycling and recycling presents a range of volunteering and training opportunities. These opportunities include:
Supporting repairs in our workshop.
Delivering and collecting items in the local area with our driver.
Working with our Domestic Appliance Technician servicing white goods.
We make these voluntary opportunities available to those people who could be considered marginalised, vulnerable or otherwise excluded from work as well as others that may be interested. We aim to help volunteers to become ready for work by, improving levels of confidence and wellbeing as well as by providing opportunities to learn new skills.
We have an excellent base of volunteers at NuLife and have developed a real community spirt within the team. We welcome people from all backgrounds and of all skill levels as well as anyone with any trade experience. While volunteering with us you will learn a range of new and interesting skills that will benefit you in the future and advance your work experience while also helping the community and environment all as an integral part of our team.
If you are interested in volunteering with us please visit Cadwyn Housong Association’s Volunteering Page to view a list of our current opportunities.
