Nu Life Furniture is a project developed by Cadwyn Housing Association thanks to funding from the Big Lottery.
Our main aim is to provide good quality, refurbished furniture and goods for vulnerable people and low income families in Cardiff.
We also provide volunteering opportunities for members of the local community. Young and vulnerable people are able to improve their skills by getting involved in upcycling and renovating the household furniture that has been donated.
We accept most furniture in good, clean and re-useable condition. Unfortunately we might have to refuse some broken, ripped or torn items if we feel that they are not re-useable even with repair. Soft furnishings must have the appropriate fire safety labels attached and intact. Examples of some of the items we collect are:
If you are unsure whether an item is suitable, give us a call on 029 2034 2695 or take a photograph and email it to email@example.com
Please fill out the booking form below with your contact details and what furniture you have and we will be in touch with you shortly to arrange a suitable collection date
The process of upcycling and recycling will present a range of voluntary opportunities, including practical/physical work, administrative positions and other relevant tasks that may arise in the course of NU Life Furniture’s day to day work.
We have an excellent base of volunteers at NU Life and have developed a real community spirt within the team. While volunteering at NU Life you will learn a range of new and interesting skills that will benefit you in the future and advance your work experience while also helping the community and environment all as an integral part of our team

We're able to accept donations at the warehouse now, so contact us here if you want to bring something to us. Up until now everything we've got has come from Cadwyn's vacant properties but in the next few weeks we'll have our van and we'll be able to collect from you!
