Our service depends on volunteers.
Every year, NuLife Furniture supports hundreds of households in Cardiff out of furniture poverty and this is only possible because of the incredible work of our valued volunteers.
We’re proud to have an excellent base of volunteers at NuLife with a genuine community spirt within our team. We welcome people from all backgrounds and of all skill levels, in addition to anyone with trade experience.
While volunteering with us, you’ll learn a range of new and interesting skills that can benefit you in the future, and expand your experiences while helping the community and environment. No prior experience is required with full training and support given.

Our volunteering opportunities include:
- Supporting repairs in our workshop;
- Assisting the driver with delivering and collecting items;
- Sales administration and reception;
- Marketing and social media;
- Storeroom assistance (helping and sorting donations);
- Facilitating various workshops.
Volunteering opportunities are available for all including people who could be considered marginalised, vulnerable or otherwise excluded from work, as well as others who may be interested. We aim to help volunteers to become ready for work by improving levels of confidence and wellbeing, in addition to providing opportunities to learn new skills.
